Why Trading is Key for World Cup 2026

With 980 stickers in the album, you mathematically need a minimum of around 140 EUR for completion (without duplicates). But reality is different - without trading, you could spend over 1,500 EUR!

Trading isn't just tradition - it's the most cost-effective way to complete your album.

Trading Post Format

In Facebook groups and forums, collectors use a standard format. Here's an example:

HAVE (duplicates): 10, 36, 37, 217, 227, 322, 385, 402, 426, 485, 496, 511
NEED: 15, 42, 89, 156, 278, 345, 512, 678, 721, 890

Specials: b7, b24, b28, b73, b84 (have duplicates)

Location: Sarajevo, center
Contact: DM or phone

Tip: Sort numbers from smallest to largest - easier to search!

Where to Find Collectors?

Facebook groups:

  • Regional collector groups with thousands of members
  • Active community with daily trading posts

Physical locations:

  • Shopping centers, parks, cafes
  • Kiosks selling packets
  • Schools and universities

Online:

Collection Organization

1. Keep a list of what you have

Mark each sticker as soon as you stick it. You can use:

  • Phone apps
  • Excel spreadsheet
  • Paper and pencil

2. Sort duplicates

Keep duplicate stickers separate, sorted by numbers. When going to trade, bring only duplicates!

3. Update lists regularly

After each packet purchase or trade, immediately update your lists.

Fair Trading Rules

  1. 1 for 1 - Standard is one sticker for one
  2. Specials for specials - Foil/shiny stickers trade for same type
  3. Be honest - Don't offer damaged stickers as new
  4. Honor agreements - If you've agreed, show up for the trade
